I transferred to a wrong recipient. Can I cancel the transaction and recover the funds?

Local Transfers

Successful transfer cannot be cancelled.

Please ensure that the recipient’s account details are accurate before proceeding with the transfer.

If you have transferred funds to the wrong recipient, you may contact the recipient directly or inform Customer Service Team via our in-app Live Chat for further assistance.

Overseas Transfers

For Wire transfers, please contact our 24-hour Customer Service hotline immediately for assistance.

We will do our best to process cancellation requests but such requests are subject to processing constraints and may not always be successful, The turnaround time to process the cancellation requests vary depending on the recipient destinations and banks. Kindly note that charges may be imposed for the bank to process cancellation requests.

Upon a successful cancellation request, the amount credited back to your Mari Savings Account or Mari Business Account may be lower than the original SGD amount debited due to foreign exchange (FX) rate changes or equal to the original SGD amount debited, as the prevailing market FX rate will be applied at the time of cancellation.

We regret to inform that successful Alipay or UnionPay transfers cannot be reversed or cancelled. For pending transactions, such as UnionPay transfers submitted outside of processing hours, we will do our best to process the cancellation requests but such requests are subject to processing constraints and may not always be successful.
