What is the foreign currency exchange rate used for Card transactions and Overseas ATM Withdrawals?

Eligible Foreign Currencies (MYR, THB, IDR, KRW, JPY, CNY, AUD): MariBank offers promotional exchange rates that are better than Mastercard’s standard exchange rates, with no markups.

To view the estimated exchange rates:

1. Log in to your MariBank app.
2. Tap on Card on the home screen.
3. Tap on Card Exchange Rates.
4. View the exchange rates under Daily Exchange Rates.

All Other Foreign Currencies: Transactions are converted using Mastercard global exchange rates with no markups.

To view the estimated exchange rates:

1. Log in to your MariBank app.
2. Tap on Card on the home screen.
3. Tap on Card Exchange Rates.
4. Tap on Explore More Currencies.
5. View the exchange rates for your selected currency.

Note: Exchange rates shown in the MariBank app are based on the latest foreign currency transactions by MariBank customers, which are refreshed periodically. Please note that the exchange rates are meant to be estimates only. The actual exchange rate applied to your transaction is specific to the date and time your transaction is charged to your card.
