What is a cooling-down period? Why is a cooling-down period imposed and what are some actions that I can take during this period of time?

If your Mari Credit Card Instant Loan (“Instant Loan”) application, Instant Loan disbursement or request or application to increase the credit limit of your Mari Credit Card is rejected (each a “Relevant Application/Request”), a cooling-down period will apply before you can submit another Relevant Application/Request. The length of this cooling-down period starts from 7 days, and the specific duration applicable to you is at our discretion and varies from individual to individual.

  • One of the key reasons for implementing a cooling-down period is to allow us to obtain your updated financial profile and review your application, taking into consideration any positive changes you may have made throughout the cooling-down period.

In the meantime, we encourage you to take steps to address any areas identified for improvement (e.g. obtain a free credit report from CBS for personal review, debt reduction).
