What is the Instant Loan cooling-down period, why is it imposed, and what actions can I take?

If your Mari Credit Card Instant Loan (“Instant Loan”) application, Instant Loan disbursement or request or application to increase the credit limit of your Mari Credit Card is rejected (each a “Relevant Application/Request”), a cooling-down period will apply before you can submit another Relevant Application/Request. The length of this cooling-down period starts from 7 days, and the specific duration applicable to you is at our discretion and varies from individual to individual.

One of the key reasons for implementing a cooling-down period is to allow us to obtain your updated financial profile and review your application, taking into consideration any positive changes you may have made throughout the cooling-down period.

In the meantime, we encourage you to take steps to address any areas identified for improvement (e.g. obtain a free credit report from CBS for personal review, debt reduction).

If you wish to appeal on your unsuccessful Instant Loan application / disbursement, please submit this form.
