What are some potential issues that I may face when placing a Fixed Deposit close to the maximum deposit cap?

You may potentially face disruption to your banking transactions. Choosing a Fixed Deposit amount that leaves sufficient room below the maximum deposit cap of S$100,000 is the best way to prevent such disruption.

Managing your total balance is key. To ensure smooth banking, please review your current balance and factor in:

- The placement amount of the Fixed Deposit(s) you are placing

- Any estimated expenses or funds you expect to use from your Mari Savings Account

Please note that the interest earned on Fixed Deposit upon maturity will still be credited to your Mari Savings Account.
