What is a cooling-down period? Why is it enforced, and what steps should I take during this period of time?

If your Balance Transfer application or disbursement or the request to increase the limit of your Mari Credit Card is rejected (each a "Relevant Application/Request"), a cooling-down period will be applied before you can submit another Relevant Application/Request. The cooling-period starts from 7 days, and the exact duration is determined by MariBank's discretion and may vary from individual to individual.

The cooling-period is implemented to provide us time to review your updated financial profile, taking into consideration any improvements you may have achieved during the period.

In the meantime, we encourage you to address any areas for improvement such as obtaining a free credit report from CBS or focusing on debt reduction.
