When you are transferring CAD to Canada via Interac, you are able to select a security question and input the security answer. This answer will be required by the recipient if they have not enabled Autodeposit for their bank account in Canada.
When Autodeposit is not set up, the recipient will need to click the link sent to their email or phone, depending on the receipt mode you have selected during the recipient set up. Once the link is opened up, the security question will need to be answered correctly in order to withdraw funds to their selected bank account.
