MariBank offers a promotional fee waiver on overseas ATM withdrawals for the first S$500 in aggregate per calendar month from 14 October 2026 to 31 March 2027 (“Promotion Period”). A 2% ATM Withdrawal Fee will apply only to the amount that exceeds the first S$500.
Note: Your default overseas ATM withdrawal limit is S$500 per month. To request a higher monthly limit, please contact our Customer Service team. Any increase is subject to MariBank’s review and discretion.
How the 2% ATM Withdrawal Fee works:
For example, during the Promotion Period, if you make overseas ATM withdrawals totalling the equivalent of S$800 in a calendar month, the applicable ATM Withdrawal Fee charged by MariBank will be S$6 (2% of the S$300 exceeding the promotional fee waiver for the first S$500).
Fees and Charges for Overseas ATM Withdrawals:
- Promotional ATM Withdrawal Fee waiver: Up to S$500 in aggregate (or equivalent in foreign currency) per calendar month during the Promotion Period from 14 October 2026 to 31 March 2027. The withdrawal amount refreshes on the 1st of every calendar month.
- For withdrawal amount over S$500: A 2% ATM Withdrawal Fee will apply to the amount exceeding S$500. This is deducted directly from the SGD balance of your Mari Savings Account and cannot be waived.
- Third-Party ATM Fees: Overseas ATMs owned by other bank operators may still charge their own separate ATM usage or operator fees. Any applicable fees should be shown on the ATM screen before you confirm the transaction. As these fees are charged by third-party bank operators, MariBank does not collect these fees and is unable to waive or refund it.
Other Fees and Charges:
- Foreign Currency Transaction Fee: No foreign currency transaction fee will be charged for Overseas ATM Withdrawals.
- Currency Conversion Fee: Overseas ATM withdrawals requested in Singapore Dollars and processed overseas will be subject to a prevailing charge of 1% of the transaction amount, levied by Mastercard and passed through by MariBank.
- To avoid foreign dynamic currency conversion (DCC) charges, select “Continue without Conversion”, which is the option to withdraw in that foreign country’s currency (e.g., MYR in Malaysia, THB in Thailand, IDR in Indonesia, etc.).
