What should I take note of if I wish to close my Mari Savings Account?

Kindly note the following when closing this account:

1. Once closed, your Mari Savings Account cannot be reinstated. It cannot be used for further transactions or banking services such as the downloading of e-Statements dated before the date of closure.

2. If your mobile number or NRIC is linked to Mari Savings Account for PayNow services, it will be delinked when you close your account. You acknowledge that once delinked, your Mari Savings Account will no longer be able to receive money via PayNow.

3. Ensure that any remaining balance in your account is transferred out before we close your account.

4. If your Shopee account is linked to your Mari Savings Account, it will be delinked when you close your account.

5. Your Mari Debit Card will be cancelled.

6. Ensure that all active eGIRO arrangements are deleted before we close your account.

Please ensure that you perform these actions before closing the account:

1. Download any previous e-Statements that you need beforehand from the MariBank App.

2. Transfer out any balances in your account to another bank account.
