What should I take note of if I wish to cancel my Mari Credit Card?

Kindly note the following when cancelling your Mari Credit Card:

1. Once cancelled, your Mari Credit Card cannot be reinstated. This means that your current Mari Credit Card number will be invalid and you will no longer be able to view your transaction history or cashback. You will not be able to perform further transactions or banking services linked to the Mari Credit Card.

2. Prior to the cancellation of Mari Credit Card, any cashback balance will offset any outstanding amount. If you have no outstanding sum, it will be credited to your Mari Savings Account.

3. Similarly, any negative cashback will be charged to your Mari Credit Card and is payable before the credit card is cancelled.

4. Any cashback that is awarded after Mari Credit Card is cancelled cannot be redeemed.

5. If your Shopee account is linked to Mari Credit Card for checkout services, you must unlink the accounts before cancelling your Mari Credit Card.

6. You are responsible for making full repayment of all outstanding balances (including ongoing instalments and fees and charges, if any) under your Mari Credit Card before we cancel your card. Your Mari Credit Card will not be cancelled if there are outstanding balance.

7. Do note that there are no guarantees that your next application for a Mari Credit Card will be approved. Any future application will be treated as a fresh application, and is subject to your application satisfying MariBank’s criteria, including any applicable internal policies and Applicable Laws.

8. This cancellation applies only to your Mari Credit Card. All your other MariBank products and services remain active and operational.

[For Mari Credit Card Instant Loan customers]: As Instant Loan is a feature of Mari Credit Card, do note that you will be closing both Mari Credit Card and Instant Loan when account closure is initiated. Any future application will be treated as a fresh application, and is subject to your application satisfying MariBank’s criteria, including any applicable internal policies and Applicable Laws.

Please ensure that you perform these actions before closing the account:

1. Have unlinked your Shopee account from your Mari Credit Card.

2. Have no pending Mari Credit Card transactions.

3. Are not expecting any refunds.

4. Have no overpayment.

5. Have no future unposted instalments.

6. Have no ongoing transaction disputes.

7. Make full repayment of any outstanding amount.

8. Have no more redeemable or chargeable cashback.
