When will the fund be credited back to my account for failed overseas transfer?

For most Wire transfers, the refund may take a few days after the transfer has been rejected, depending on the transfer status and the recipient banks. In some cases, the refund may take longer to process due to additional processing time from the recipient bank.

For the following instant transfers, most refunds will be credited back to your account within the next 2 business days. In some cases, the refund may also take longer due to additional processing time.

1. CNY transfers via Alipay, UnionPay, Weixin Pay

2. INR transfers via UPI

3. CAD transfers via Interac

4. GBP transfers via GB-Faster Payment System (FPS)

5. THB transfers via PromptPay

Please note that the amount credited back to your Mari Savings Account or Mari Business Account may be lower than the original SGD amount debited due to foreign exchange (FX) rate changes or equal to the original SGD amount debited, as the prevailing market FX rate will be applied at the time of return.
