To enable overseas ATM withdrawals on your card, follow these steps:
- Log in to your MariBank app.
- Tap on Card on the home screen.
- Tap Settings on the toolbar.
- Tap on Payment Controls.
- Toggle on Overseas ATM Withdrawals.
- Note: Some older overseas ATMs still rely on a card's magnetic stripe, and you may need to toggle on Magnetic Stripe Payments.
To make an overseas ATM withdrawal, follow these steps:
- Insert your Mari Credit Card or Mari Debit Card into the ATM.
- Input your 6-digit Secure PIN.
- Enter the withdrawal amount.
- If prompted, you may select “Savings Account”, “Current Account”, or “Credit Card” at the ATM. All options will deduct directly from the SGD balance of your Mari Savings Account.
- Select “Continue without Conversion”, which is the option to withdraw in that foreign country’s currency (e.g., MYR in Malaysia) to avoid the currency conversion fee or foreign dynamic currency conversion (DCC) charges.
- Collect the dispensed cash from the ATM and remember to keep your physical card.
Note: Your overseas ATM withdrawal Card PIN is the same as your MariBank 6-digit Secure PIN. If you have forgotten your PIN, please refer to What is my card PIN and how can I reset it?
